We develop open resources to support the public interest technology community and advocate for open infrastructure. We also facilitate collaborations between organizations and provide strategic support to community-driven initiatives engaging with technology. Every quarter we host a community call to bring people, projects, and external speakers together to discuss the open public interest technology ecosystem.
The Open Source Alliance for Open Scholarship Handbook includes guides to mission, values, and strategy; funding; working with a fiscal sponsor; centering values; and codes of conduct.
The Conference and Event Fund will support events that promote inclusion and broaden participation in research-driven open data science. This program is funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation through Grant GBMF8449 to Code for Science and Society.
